This month’s edition has renewed my love of Birchbox. The contents I received in February’s Birchbox are awesome! I definitely got my $10 worth and received products that I am really excited about.
February 2012′s Birchbox theme is Spotlight. The samples are “designed to highlight your awesomeness – and maybe attract a little attention“.
Here’s what I got:
BeautyBlender Sponge – I have one of these and absolutely love it! It’s a pink egg shaped foundation sponge that gives your foundation application a flawless, smooth finish. A single beautyblender retails for $19.95 on Sephora.com!
Dermalogica – This is interesting. It’s a facial microfoliant in powder form. You add water to it and make a paste that exfoliates your skin. This is a very generous sized sample that will last me quite a while.

Jouer Luminizing Moisture Tint – An itsy bitsy 0.07oz tube of tinted moisturizer that’s supposed to give you a nice glow. I received the color Pearl.
Eye Rock Designer Liner - Single use stick on black eyeliner strips in 4 different shapes. The package says they last up to 16 hours. Not sure if I’d get much use out of these but they’re a cool concept. I may just have to test them out and post a review here for fun.

Nail File – An adorable bright pink double sided heart shaped nail file. Really cute!
Green River Ordinance Digital Download – Six free songs from Green River Ordinance to download.
Without the bonus nail file and digital downloads, I calculated this Birchbox value to be around $30.00. That’s pretty darn good in my eyes. So what did you get in your Birchbox this month? Anything similar to mine?

Wow, my box was so different! I just received mine today so I will be posting my blog on it later this week, but the only similar thing I got to yours was the eye rock liners and of course the music download! Great post and love your blog- definitely going to check it out more now!

Boy, I am done with Birchbox! My February box is crap!! I didn’t get anything nice! Cheap samples that that should be ashamed to have charged people for!! I signed up for a year and wish I didn’t! I have been more disappointed than not! People, there are better programs out there! Check them out and don’t sign up for Birchbox! You can get better samples just by stepping foot in a department store!
Sorry to hear that Janice. I still have mixed thoughts on Birchbox but will see how the next few months go before making a final decision myself.

I guess for $10 incl. shipping I can’t be too choosy. However, if there IS a better product/company, I would be interested in signing up for it.
Thanks for sharing your contents with us Beth. You may want to check out the new MyGlam service. So far the monthly bags have been awesome and they’re the same price as Birchbox. I really love MyGlam because they are giving everyone the same products which keeps everyone happy and not disappointed by what someone else got instead of them.
Ahh, finally someone who got the beauty blender!! I’m so jealous! I was hoping I would get it to try it out, but oh well. I’m doing fine with what I have now. I got the Exude lipstick in Coral, but it wasn’t really for me.

I received the exact same box BUT without the beauty blender. I’m so sad, I really wanted to try it. I did get the VICHY extra box that month (for free) so I shouldn’t be complaining, but I wonder if that is why I didn’t get the beauty blender with my box. Hmmm… I did cancel after that month too. They keep emailing me with deals and what not to get me to re subscribe, so we shall see. Thanks for sharing your box with us.
