Just when I thought I was gonna give up on Birchbox they come through with a good month’s box. I was much more excited about this box than I have been in the past few month’s boxes.
There was one negative though…almost everyone else’s November Birchbox had a Zoya nail polish in it. I know I’ve said this before but I think they are doing a disservice to their brand by the inconsistency. I know how frustrated I get when I don’t get what almost everyone else got and I can imagine that I’m not the only person. And it’s happened to me several times already in the 7 months I’ve been subscribed.
It’s just something I think they need to seriously look at. If I’m frustrated and considering cancellation, how many other customers are thinking the same as me? Oh, and I even tweeted about it to @Birchbox with no response which is kinda crappy too. Maybe it’s just me being picky but I wish all the boxes where the same for everyone every month.
Without any further blabber, let’s get on to what I got.
Anastasia HydraFull Lip Gloss – This adorable little lip gloss sample came in the color Sugar Pink. The color is a very pretty light pink on my lips, it gives great shine but does have a bit of stickiness to it.
Thymes Eucalyptus Body Lotion – Smells very nice. It’s not a strong dried eucalyptus fragrance, it has a more soapy clean scent. Feels really nice on my skin, not greasy at all. Plus a small packet of Kimono Rose body lotion.
Shalimar Fragrance by Guerlain – This is a pretty strong floral fragrance which I normally don’t like but I find this still wearable. Maybe I’m ok with it because I pick up hints of a baby powder type scent.
Kerastase Elixer Ultime – A conditioning hair oil. I can always use good frizz fighting hair products so I’m looking forward to trying this out.
Bonus: Two Paper Dolls Coasters – Two letterpressed paper coasters like you find on some restaurant tables and bars. Cute print, we’ll use them!

If you aren’t liking what they send you, it might help to take a look at your preferences and update them. I loved my November box.

I got the Kerastase Elixer Ultime in mine also and i LOVE it. It makes such a difference on my hair. I put it in my damp hair before blow drying and it works magic. What does make me mad though, is that I was able to buy it online for only $47 and another item i wanted for about $10 less. Why are the prices on Birchbox higher??
