This is my first time using any type of crackle nail polish. I spotted this really pretty crackle glaze by China Glaze at my local Sally’s beauty. Previously I was never very impressed with the crackle colors so I was never really tempted to try it. But Cracked Medallion by China Glaze is beautiful! It’s a very pretty bronze gold color with lots of sparkle, especially in the sunlight.
I first coated my nails in one coat of China Glaze’s Liquid Leather, which is a plain black color, followed by the Cracked Medallion. I like it, the crackle shows up really well over the dark black. I tried a swatch over a lighter color and the crackle doesn’t show up as well. This is definitely best with a darker base.
