My newest obsession this year is Essie nail polish. I love all of their colors and especially their neutrals. They have so many different shades to choose from and I’m always buying more! In fact I just picked up another bottle yesterday afternoon in “over the edge”. It’s an awesome black/steel gray shimmer. Can’t wait to try it!
Not only does Essie polish have awesome colors, it lasts for a fair amount of time. Applied to my natural nails, I can usually get 5 days without any chipping or peeling. And that’s all while doing laundry, cooking, cleaning and typing on the computer. It’s been my go to polish all summer long!
Since I love Essie nail polish so much, I thought I’d share 6 of my favorite colors with one lucky winner! One reader will win all 6 of the shades pictured. These are new bottles that I purchased myself to share with you! I love Essie, OPI, and China Glaze equally. My favorite go to shade for my hands is Essie Ballet Slippers. I always use dark on my toes ~ mostly reds or pinks. Thanks for the chance.

I love love love OPI but on my budget doesn’t let me buy them too often… I’ve found that China Glaze has some really nice formulas and colours too. I’d love to try more Essie’s as I only have one!

I’ve had my eyes on these colors for a while now. Like you, I am a nail polish addict, but it is hard when they cost so much. Good nail polish is worth it though, but winning would be even better! My favorite color at the moment is OPI’s Cukoo for this Color!

I figured I’d enter again since I’ve been getting more into nail polish and painting nails myself lately. I’d absolutely LOVE to add these beautiful Essie colors to my tiny collection. When I first bought a couple nail polishes in the past few weeks I just thought about how much money I’d be saving by not spending nearly $17 for a manicure (including tip), but I actually enjoy doing it now! It’s fun and I’ve been painting everyone else’s nails and not to mention–ruining mine while doing so and having to take my manicure off afterwards. I’d like to try some of these and indulge in some pinks and purples for ME! I recently bought a tiny mini nail polish of Orly’s pink/purple color called Rio! It’s very summery and it makes you happy! My favorite nail polish brand use to be OPI but they’re expensive and don’t last very long on natural nails.. so yup my current favorite is ESSIE all the way! I love have they’re so easily accessible now. I’m currently in love with a beautiful lavender called “nice is nice”!

Essie is coming out with Essie Luxeffects for the 2011 Holiday season. They are glitter top coats and I just saw the pics and they look amazing. Its going to be so so so hard to choose between.

okay i used the Sally Hansen salon effects real nail polish strips in the houndstooth print yesterday and I love it!! They’re easy to put on, last for ten days (i shall see) and look so fun. they don’t replace real polish but its nice for a special event and no drying time!!
My favorite brand is definitely Essie. I love the colors Cloud Nine and Potato Fields.
I haven’t tried essie before but am definitely looking forward to trying it. I have my nails painted at all times so definitely have tons of shades. I love dark shades but went with lighter tones for summer, especially peach. I’m looking forward to fall/winter for the return of darker shades. I especially like essie’s power clutch

i went to ulta today because they had butter london polishes on sale for buy one get one free. its my first time buying butter london so i’ll see how i like them but for how much i payed for them i better!
oh and i got yummy mummy (a medium beige cream), cheeky chops (a yellow cream), chimney sweep (a charcoal grey with a metallic finish) and diamond geezer ( a platinum metallic silver).
i can’t try any of my butter london polish because i have on the salon effects nail strips on that i only just put on not too long ago and they last 10 days.
oh an so far the sally hansen nail strips are holding out great. no chips as of yet but its only been to days so we will see

i am so mad at myself. I started getting chips (just little ones) on my salon effects strips and last night i peeled them off. I have the WORST habit of peeling my polish off instead of using a cotton ball and remover.
oh and it didn’t’ even last a week! but i’ve heard from so many people that it lasted them ten days. but i do have 3 kids under 3 and do an hour worth of dishes everyday. so that could be it?

I love any think Essie and OPI. I think that the colors from both brands are simpy gorgeous!!!!!! I really am in love with the Touring American Collection from the OPI Brand. I can’t wait to get my hands on a few bottles!!! (A-taupe the space needle & I eat mainely lobster) I recently bought start to finish from OPI base and top coat, and I think it’s amazing. I also love Very structured from the recent Essie collection. This would be a perfect birthday present for me since my birthday is September 23:)
