Chocolate Milk Ice Cream

chocolate milk ice cream

I don’t know why I never thought of this before but Natalie’s Killer Cuisine gave me a great idea.  Using chocolate milk to make creamy and delicious chocolate milk ice cream!

This chocolate ice cream turns out so good.  It’s got a nice smooth chocolate flavor that reminds me a lot of a Wendy’s chocolate frosty.  It couldn’t be any easier to make or taste any better in my opinion!

Chocolate Milk Ice Cream

adapted from Natalie’s Killer Cuisine

Ingredients:

1 & 1/2 cups chocolate milk
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup cocoa powder
pinch of salt

1 cup chilled heavy whipping cream

Directions:

1.  In a medium mixing bowl; whisk together the milk, sugar, cocoa and salt.  Set aside.

2.  With your electric mixer, whip the heavy cream until it thickens like whipped cream.

3.  Fold the whipped heavy cream into the chocolate milk mixture until combine completely.  Transfer mixture to your ice cream machine and churn until it thickens to your liking.

4.  Transfer to a freezer safe container and store in freezer until your ready to devour it!
