Oatmeal Cinnamon Chip Cookies

March 8, 2010

oatmeal cinnamon chip cookie I bought a bag of Hershey’s cinnamon chips thinking that I would use them in pancakes.  But I saw this cookie recipe on the back of the bag and decided to try it instead.

I like oatmeal cookies but I hate raisins, so this seemed like the perfect cookie recipe to me as long as I left out those little buggers.

The cookies turned out really good.  They are so soft and moist.  My batch yielded a little less cookies than stated in the recipe but that was because I made mine a little larger.

I bought a bag of cinnamon chips about a week ago and was wondering what to do with them ~ now I know. I don’t like raisins in my oatmeal cookies either, so these sound perfect for me. Thanks for the idea :)
