Every week I’ll be featuring a new recipe blog for my readers to explore. Why? This is just one more way in which I want to help fellow foodies find each other and connect. Plus extra traffic to your recipe blog never hurts either!
This Week’s Featured Recipe Blog: Pardon My Crumbs

What an adorable title, I don’t know how anyone comes up with such clever names. Not only are Christie’s cooking recipes inspirational but so is her personal life story as written in her blog profile below.
A Little About Christie:
I love food. I love to eat. I love to write. So starting a food blog is as simple as that, right? Wrong.
Last April, my dream of starting Pardon My Crumbs was derailed when my 31-year-old husband, Bryan was diagnosed with cancer. A brain tumor to be exact. It sucked. And out the window, at least until now, went any aspirations of chronicling my love for food and words. Which is redundant, but that’s okay. Instead of a food blog, I was inspired to start An Inconvenient Tumor, taking friends and family on an intensely personal journey that was our battle against cancer.
Nine months, six rounds of chemotherapy and one long round of radiation later, my husband’s cancer is retreating (!!!) and my dream of starting a food blog is becoming a reality. I’m even more ready than ever to write because during our darkest days, it was chopping, basting, stewing, sauteing and baking that served as my therapy. Not to mention delicious, nutritious meals for my weary hubby.
Now I get to share these fabulous meals with you, and not only do they come from a really tiny kitchen, they come from my heart.
