Chocolate Pudding and Brownie Surprise

January 13, 2010

The recipe I am about to share with you is for my most requested dessert.  For every party or picnic, people are always asking me to bring this goodie with me.  And at the end of the party, the bowl is practically licked clean!

This dessert is not exactly elegant, actually it’s basically slop in a bowl.  But yummy, delicious slop that is!

What you need:

1- Boxed Brownie Mix

1- Large Instant Chocolate Pudding Mix

1 – Large Container of Cool Whip

Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips For Garnish

Bake the brownies according to the package directions.  Let brownies cool completely before assembling the final dessert.

Make the pudding according to the package directions and refrigerate until your brownies cool completely.

Although the dessert may not look or sound like much, make no mistake…it tastes amazing!  The pudding keeps the brownies nice and moist and combine so well with the creamy pudding and cool whip.  Give this recipe a try, it’s so easy and sure to be a crowd pleaser!

How many does one batch serve?

Debra, I would say a single batch serves around 12 to 15 people. My husband can devour a huge pile of it, so it really depends on your guests. Once they taste it, it may not go far!
