Next week at this exact time, it will be Christmas eve. I cannot believe how fast this month has gone by! I haven’t been around here much cause I’ve just been so overwhelmed with holiday stuff.
I’m almost ready. We have one more person to buy for this weekend and then I have to finish my wrapping. Thankfully we don’t have to buy for too many people.
Not only do I have to worry about Christmas gifts but we also have 3 birthdays during the month of December. Two have passed and I have one more on the 20th, my mother in law’s. So today, I can’t forget to get my butt to the post office to mail her birthday gift and my brother in law’s x-mas gift. Neither of them live close by. His brother especially, who lives in South Carolina.
I actually can’t wait til it’s over so things can get back to normal. But then again, January and February aren’t that much fun here in Pennsylvania. Especially when you work from home like I do. Those two months go soooo slow. And I feel caged like an animal.
I’m already feeling house bound with my husband working lots of overtime lately. I feel badly for him since he works outside. It’s kind of a crappy time to be working 10 hour days, 6 days a week. Kind of like the borough workers who are unloading machinery in the alley way behind my house. They couldn’t wait til after the holidays?
I’m dreading the day when they actually start digging back there. Some kind of sewer work, fun fun. It’s going to be a noisy distraction for me while I work in my home office. My office window faces right where they are. Good grief.
