Going out to the movies isn’t really that cheap anymore. So when you go and see a crappy movie, it’s really disappointing. What’s even worse is going to a disappointing movie that was highly rated by the movie critics. They clearly have different opinions and ideas about movies than the average movie watcher.
When I came across TwitCritics, I was very curious about it. TwitCritics is a newer site that takes Twitter conversations and opinions about movies, compiles them and creates a score for each movie. I think it’s cool because it’s average, everyday people’s opinions. Not fancy, schmancy critics. While this is not a fool proof way of judging whether you’ll enjoy a movie or not, I think it’s still cool to read the tweeted opinions.
