body parfaitsMy favorite Etsy seller, Cozy Moments, has come up with a creative idea.  She’s taken goat’s milk and honey body cream and layered it with cooling aloe vera gel.  The final result is an attractive jar of soothing body parfait.

I purchased two travel sized jars for testing, “Flirt – Tini” and “Pink Lime Sugar”.  Both scents are incredible.  The mixture of lotion and aloe feels wonderful when applied to the skin.  I can just imagine how it will feel after a day in the hot sun.  I imagine cool and refreshing.

honey-maple-glazeSometimes grilled chicken and pork chops can be so bland and unexciting.  In an attempt to spice things up, I tried this sweet honey maple glaze.  It’s quick and easy with only 3 simple ingredients.

With the grilling season upon us, try this glaze for a little change of pace.  I bet you’ll find yourself using it again and again.  As they say, “finger licking good”!

Who doesn’t love cute little puppies?  I came across this video and thought it was so cute.  My dog cries and whimpers in his sleep but nothing as cute as this little guy.

And I’ll never understand how one little cat can intimidate dogs so badly.  My dog will do anything he can to avoid my two cats for no reason. They are declawed and have never attacked him but he acts like they are each 100 pound beasts.

free twitter follow-me-iconsA few days ago I pointed you to a site to help you add some personality to your Twitter profile , and now you can add a bit of personality to your blog or website too.  One way to help you gain new Twitter followers is by adding a “follow me” icon to your personal and/or business sites.

I also write for Small Business CEO regularly.  On Monday, I posted a list I put together of sites that collectively contain over 300 absolutely free Twitter “follow me” buttons.  There are so many good choices to choose from.  I am partial to the colorful and whimsical options like the one in my sidebar and shown above.  The icon above can be found on the site twitterbuttons.com.

Be sure to check out all the sites before you choose one you like.  Each site has different styles and designs that should  appeal to just about anyone.  If you’d like, you can follow me on Twitter by clicking on the graphic above.
