I'm back from a nice refreshing 3 day holiday weekend. My husband and I took a little day trip Saturday up to the Clear Creek State Forest with our dog Bo. We had a really nice time taking in a little bit of fresh air and nature. That is except for the mosquitoes feasting on our fresh city blood. Once we stepped out of the truck, we were fair game. It was like those darn bugs knew we were city folk and they were stepped up to the buffet to take a nibble. Luckily we brought bug spray with us but we didn't escape unharmed. We both came back with plenty of proof that we were in the great outdoors. Itchy, itchy, itchy, scratchy, scratchy, scratchy…..
