top-50-recipe-blogsAfter a few months of this blog being open, I realize that most of my readers are interested in recipes as much as I am.  So I decided to scour the web to bring you this list of 50 of the most awesome recipe/cooking blogs that I can find.

On these recipe blogs, you will find some of the most creative recipes around.  I limited the recipe blogs to ones that offer the most unique and uncommon recipes.  This way my readers can find new and interesting recipes to try.

For the recipe blogs listed below, feel free to grab this badge and post it on your site.  I would appreciate a link back to my site if possible.

Simply Recipes – Elise Bauer has a few hundred recipes listed on this site that all have been tested by her own family and friends.  This blog has been recognized in several magazine publications too.

Priscilla Bakes – An energetic teenager shares her baking recipes made in her families kitchen.

Picky Palate – Jenny considers herself an amateur cook but you’ll be surprised with her unique recipes.

Cooking With Anne – Anne a mother of 7, yes 7, shares her passion for cooking and feeding her large family.

Dinner With the Bickfords – Jamie offers great budget friendly recipes.

Homemade – Sarah shares her own adventures within the kitchen.

Elle’s New England Kitchen – Elle provides a nice variety of recipes making cooking look so simple.

What’s For Lunch, Honey?- Meeta shares her passion for food and the experiments she comes up with.

The Caked Crusader- An anonymous blogger lists nothing but yummy cake recipes.

Simple Daily Recipes- Jill McKeever has created a wonderful resource site full of family and budget friendly recipes.

Cindalou’s Kitchen Blues – Cindy offers tons of recipes for a healthy lifestyle.

Lisa’s Kitchen – Vegetarian recipes focusing on Indian dishes.

Diabetic Recipes – Bill Austin shares delicious diabetic meal recipes.

Herbivoracious- Michael Natkin keeps his recipes strictly vegetarian.

Lisa’s Cookbook – Lisa Knight shares her collection of favorite family friendly meals.

Peanut Butter and Julie – Julie uses cooking as a creative outlet and gives us a peek at her creations.

Uncommon Artistic Endeavors – Vicki shows us her extremely creative side with her unique ideas for recipes, gift giving and entertaining.

Janet Is Hungry – Janet features really unique dishes with great photos to make your mouth water.

Closet Cooking – Kevin shares recipes he’s found and tried while on the quest for non-boring meals.

Kirsten’s Home Cooking – Kirsten shares her passion for food and wine.

Passionate About Baking – A great collection of some very unique recipes that will catch your eye.

Gigi Cakes – Awesome baking recipes from Gigi’s own kitchen.

Apples & Spice- Katie’s love of baking shines thru with her recipes fit for any sweet tooth.

Bake or Break – Jennifer considers herself an amateur baker but you’ll think otherwise when you see her recipes and pictures.

The Knead for Bread – Bread recipes are the primary focus of this blog.

The Skinny Gourmet – Erin posts mostly original recipes focused on healthy eating with great taste.

Nook and Pantry – Amy’s recipes based on comfort foods with a touch of the author’s Chinese roots represented.

Cupcake Recipes – This blog has some of the most unique cupcake recipes and designs I have ever seen.

Caviar and Codfish – Robin’s blog is jam packed with sophisticated but simple recipes.

Ambrosia and Nectar – Annemarie considers cooking and food her greatest pleasure.  Simple recipes with great pictures.

Bake My Day! – A stay at home mother of three shares recipes made in her Netherlands home kitchen.

Cream Puffs In Venice- A Canadian resident with an Italian backround shares her food journey with beautiful pictures.

White On Rice Couple – A young couple with a zest for life share their recipes for food and cocktails.  They also post really cute home videos.

Sugar Plum – Emiline has loaded this blog with nothing but sweets and treats.

Stephanie’s Kitchen – A really nice collection of simple yet elegant recipes.

Hot Off The Garlic Press – LOVE the name – don’t worry, it’s not all about garlic!  Natalie offers “homemade chic recipes to delight your friends and family”.

The Sister’s Cafe – A group of 5 sisters post their favorite family tested recipes.

Rock Recipes – Barry’s lists his traditional recipes, some with his Newfoundland twist added to them.  Really nice photos of each recipe.

The Daily Dish Recipes – Nicole is a mother of 5 who shares her budget friendly, home cooked recipe all tested by her large family.

Shakin’ & Bakin’ Recipe Blog – Shelly shares nice basic recipes and tips great for beginners.

Cupcake Project- Stef is mastering the art of cupcakes one recipe at a time.  Some very unique cupcake recipes!

Kitchen Recipes – An enormous collection of cake, cookie, brownie and dessert recipe.

Cucina Panzano- A journal of family recipes “from Naples, New England & the beautiful hilltop village of Panzano overlooking the vineyards of Tuscany”.

Food Blogga – Susan shares her favorite home tested meals with some very unique salad ideas.

Prudence Pennywise – Recipes using fresh healthful ingredients with the goal of feeding a family of four on $100.00 a week.  She even lists the costs for each meal!

A Corner Of My Kitchen – Leah, a wife and mother of three, shares her home cooked meals mainly cooked from scratch.

Honeyed Hashette – Janna loves trying new recipes and sharing them with her readers.

Butter Sugar Flour – Linda shares her adventures in baking with amazing recipes and pictures.

The Leftover Queen – Jenn has made an art out of using leftover pantry and refrigerated ingredients to make healthful, simple meals.

My Baking Heart – A wide variety of awesome recipes that look easy to accomplish.

I was in New Orleans during 9/11 and ate at KPauls. I had THE BEST DISH EVER – it was a stuffed pork chop (cheese stuffed along with a creamy mushroom /wine gravy. Anyone know this recipe ?? I tried calling there back in 2003 and the chef “couldnt give out the recipe to me. Anyone know this dish ?? PLEASE Email me at firetecsharon@aol.com – I’d fly from PHX back there just to have that wonderful meal with mashed paotatos!!!Thanks SO much for your help ! ! I’d love to suprise my mother with this dish !
