light-me-a-shedWe have a pretty big shed which houses our riding lawn mower, gardening tools and my husband’s tool bench.  It is a fair distance from the house and we have not taken the time or effort to run electricity out to it yet.  If it’s dark out, my husband has trouble finding his tools and equipment.  I was very excited to find Light Me a Shed.  This solar powered light requires no electrical wires!  When fully charged, this bugger stays lit for up to 5 hours.  This looks like it will be a life saver.  It sells for $87.99 plus shipping but is well worth it for it’s ease of use.  Plus, big bonus…….you’re using solar energy to power the light.  Useful and eco-friendly, you can’t beat that!  I hope to be ordering this soon and I will write a review after we use it for a while.

fanfare-wood-earringsI prefer wearing handmade jewelry because you can get unique one of a kind pieces that you won’t find anywhere else.  I can spend endless amounts of time on Etsy looking thru pages and pages of beautiful handmade jewelry.

Shy Siren makes some really great items that have a vintage inspired look to them.  I love the way they use multiple metals in most pieces that gives it added depth & beauty.  There are many designs to choose from and they are all reasonably priced.  Earrings start at around $20.00 and some of the more intricate necklaces go up to around $42.00.  Each piece comes packaged in a free gift box.
