We are all looking for eco-friendly products for home & personal uses. These products have not necessarily made it into our local grocery and retail stores yet. However, you can find a lot of great products for purchase online.
I came across an interesting collection of 100% biodegradable & compostable bags. BioBags are made from the first bio-polymer ever invented. The bio-polymer uses renewable resources and reduces greenhouse gas emissions. Surprisingly, the bags are made from mostly cornstarch and other renewable raw materials. No polyethylene is used in the production.
BioBags has a whole variety of available products ranging from lawn & leaf bags, kitchen & waste bags, cat litter box liners, and dog waste bags. Ordering on the BioBags site is only for distributors and retailers to buy in bulk. However, I found the BioBags line of products on BuyGreen.com for individual box purchase. The products are all pretty reasonably priced too.

I’m seeing those reusable canvas grocery bags that you wrote about in an earlier post EVERYWHERE now. Think it’s going to be the “wave of the future” in grocery shopping. Besides, with the current prices. . .people cannot afford to buy a lot of food anyways nowadays
